Palm Oddity 2

Top image is close up of the variegated leaves, upon closer
inspection it was noted that the variegation ran through and
down the petioles. This is truly one of nature's natural wonders,
as Sabal minor grows like weeds in this part of
Texas (Brazoria) and this is the only one ever spotted. |

This image was taken by Blake Volk showing both the palm
and the cow pasture that it grows in. Mike Rayburn, said that
the cattle have been stomping and grazing on it, so he plans
on building an enclosure around this rare palm to protect and
preserve this oddity of nature.
