A view from the top. As things grow, I had to open up the canopy which is a Southern Live Oak, "Quercus virginiana". After pruning a few branches, I got out the camera and took a few pictures. Below and starting to the left and going clock wise is Rhapis excelsa (Lady Palm), Carica papaya, Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise), Radermachera sinica (China Doll), Phoenix roebelenii (Pygmy Date Palm), Musa sp. (Banana), and Livistona chinensis (Chinese Fan Palm) in the fore ground. Image taken morning of April 19, 2000.
