Variegated Shell Ginger; "Alpinia Zerumbet" 'variegated', This is one beautiful foliage plant that grows to 7 feet here in South Texas. Every April it produces many large pendant inflorescence, that are white and pink with yellow and red throats. It is said that this plant can be grown in zone 7 although it may not flower, it would be worth growing for its wonderful foliage. Want seeds? Chick Here.
