Rhapis excelsa 'taiheiden' is perhaps the most sought after of the all-green Rhapis. This is truly the "King of kannonchiku". Notice the the leaves, as they are very large, wide and thick. The "Taiheiden" was discovered as a sport among other taiwanchiu-group of plants and was registered in 1949.
