This is our third growing season here in
South Texas, back in the spring and summer of 1997 when Jana
and I first started our new garden and to the present, we have
photographed and documented it's progress as well as it's set
backs and have posted them on the internet. Now the year 2000
is Archived, with many photos (over 600) and all in a brand new
format. Starting in July the thumbnail images will be larger
and also in a new directory Main
Menu Page July - December.
Some of the pictures you might find repetitious by nature,
but this, I purposely did, to show changes that the plants can
go through over a few days or even hours, and to show the plants
progress throughout our growing season here in Corpus Christi.
Thumbnail images are all less than 3k while larger images are
posted at medium resolution and for the most, are all under 40k.
Be sure and check out our Links
and Resource Page ,
for plants, seeds, message boards, and other interest to the
tropical gardener and while you're at it, check out The
most sought after Rhapis very
expensive, but pups are now available at a much lower cost, although
still not cheap! Also I have a small section on Palm
Oddities that might be of
interest to some. Plus a lot more....
Thanks
& Acknowledgements
I sincerely hope the people that have found
these pages, have enjoyed and maybe somehow even learned a little
something that may help in the future with their own plants and
gardens. Throughout the years, we have met many new and enthusiast
gardening friends, both in the cyber as well as the real world,
and I'd like to thanks all of them (especially you!) that have
email us, regarding our garden pages, with a warm and friendly
reception.
Again thanks,
Gary

menu bar below and allow page to load. To enlarge image, just
click on a thumbnail (smaller image). This year, images will
be posted by the month, and unlike the last two years, a comment
will accompany each image (All New Format) with faster loading
images. Everyday our garden grows, and it seems that something
new is in bloom every week. Also check out our 2001 winter garden
image gallery plus we've added a new site search engine powered
by FreeFind, and there's lots more to come. Check back every
now and then and see what's new! These pages are designed for
Internet Explorer 4 and Netscape 4 or better and our pages are
always under construction!
