This is the second half of the year
2000 (Archives), and our third growing season here in South Texas.
Since 1997, when Jana and I first started our new garden and
to the present, we have photographed and documented it's progress
as well as it's set backs, and have posted them on the internet.
So far this year, I have posted many photos (over 350) and all
in a brand new format. Now we start part two, again some of the
pictures you might find repetitious, but this, I purposely did
to show changes that the plants can go through over a few weeks,
days or even hours, and to show the plants progress throughout
our growing season here in Corpus Christi. Unlike the previous
six months, thumbnail images will be larger and are all about
5k while larger images are posted at medium resolution and for
the most, are all under 40k. Be sure and check out our Winter
Garden Image Gallery 2001, as well as our Spring
Garden Image Gallery 2001

& Acknowledgements
I sincerely hope the people that have
found these pages, have enjoyed and maybe somehow even learned
a little something that may help in the future with their own
plants and gardens. Throughout the years, we have met many new
and enthusiast gardening friends, both in the cyber as well as
the real world, and I'd like to thanks all of them (especially
you!) that have email us, regarding our garden pages, with a
warm and friendly reception. I try to reply to all email I receive
but this past few months I have been preoccupied with collecting
and cleaning seed and spending more time at the Rhapis Gardens
and greenhouse. Sorry if I missed anyone and will try and keep
up on my email in the future.
Again thanks,
Gary
Choose a page from
the menu bar below and allow page to load. To enlarge image,
just click on a thumbnail (smaller image). This year, images
will be posted by the month, and unlike the last two years, a
comment will accompany each image (All New Format) with faster
loading images. Day by day as our garden grows, it seems that
something new is in bloom every week. Check back every now and
then and see what's new! These pages are designed for Internet
Explorer 4 and Netscape 4 or better and our pages are always
under construction! Also added this year is a search engine (powered
by FreeFind),
so if your looking for something in particular feel free to use
this handy tool. Enjoy! |
