Fall in the garden: While
our northern neighbor's gardens, all prepare for winters sleep,
our South Texas garden, is still growing strong. Some plants
like the Cordyline pictured above, flower, palm infructescence
start to ripen (seed to be harvested) and the banana and papaya
become afternoon treats and snacks. I believe that fall is one
of the best seasons of the year, for enjoying all the rewards
that your garden has to offer. Plus those cooler day time temperatures
sure helps.
